Happy Graduation & See You Soon

Just a quick blog post here.

I made 4 incredible friends in Ithaca this past year. They are kind, funny, and loving. They accepted my "energizer bunny" attitude and took a chance to let me into their house and into their life. When I moved into my small bedroom in their house, I did not know that I was also adopting four of the best people I have ever met.

Thus began sushi lunch trips, extravagant and (very) numerous dinner parties. Super bowl parties, arepa nights, cupcakes competitions, and movie nights. Stressful rants, excited yammering, and sleepy hello's. I thank whatever forces brought us together because I would not have made it through my first year of veterinary school without them all.

Yet of course May came around and we are all moving off in different directions (except Reece, Lena, and I...we ain't getting rid of each other yet). Eric is crushing a PhD in the great white north (you know...Minnesota). Alex is showing UPenn what incredible veterinary power he has by crushing an intern year as he works to become a radiologist.

So happy graduation all! And happy graduation Alex. It is always hard to think of a gift for someone who has given so much to us all. In the end we settled on three drawings of significance to Alex. Thanks for being our friend. Ithaca will always belong to you. We hope this can convey some of our love for you and show us our pride for all that you've done.
